COEUR D’ALENE — A total of 182 4-H members from 17 Idaho counties competed in this year’s State Horse Contest. The contest was held July 12 and 13 in Coeur d’Alene at the St. Pius Education Center and Kootenai County Fairgrounds.
This year’s events marked the 28th anniversary of Idaho 4-H youth horse contests. The contests are sponsored by the Idaho Youth Horse Council and the University of Idaho Cooperative Extension System.
Competition is open to eligible 4-H and FFA members and other Idaho youths. The following are team and individual results from the contest:
