Dear Alumni and Friends: 

By the time you are reading this another Ag Days will have gone by  football tailgating will be finished, and the holidays will be looming! CALS and the Alumni & Friends Association have been working hard to offer a range of alumni activities for you to enjoy. On campus, Ag Days this year offered alumni the chance to revisit campus and interact with current and prospective students—whether playing softball, visiting the food fair, enjoying the Ag Days BBQ, or watching the Vandal football team. 

The CALS Alumni & Friends Association also offered Vandal Dogs to alumni and students who visited our reserved spot before each home football game. If you missed tailgating this year, we hope you’ll plan to visit Moscow for one of the home games and join us next year!

We also teamed up with the CALS student recruitment coordinator and held a new event that offered alumni the chance to visit with prospective students. We called our collaboration Vandal Dogs & Dialogue. We shared our UI/CALS memories, answered questions about college life in our day, and learned more about today’s future college students. The event was great fun, and we plan to offer three of these throughout Idaho next year. Watch your mailbox for an invitation to a Vandal Dogs & Dialogue event near you!
