Meet Kim Nelson, new student recruiter

Keeping classrooms filled with the best possible students is no simple challenge for Kim Nelson, new student recruitment coordinator for UI College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS).
S
“It’s a great job,” says Nelson, “and I’m especially fortunate to have help from 24 student ambassadors.” Each fall and spring they visit high schoolers throughout the Pacific Northwest, touting reasons to attend UI CALS.

After graduating from Washington State University, Nelson taught agricultural education for two years at Colton (WA) High School. Contact Nelson also for CALS’ scholarship program: 208.885.7984, or kanelson@uidaho.edu.
