larvae are caterpillars up to 20 mm long. They
are light green with a wide, white stripe down
the back. Adults are tan to dark brown moths
similar to mint root borer moths. Larvae feed on
the undersides of leaves and tie leaves together.
Host plants: beets, sugarbeets, beans, spinach,
mint.
