Most of the insect drawings in these keys were rendered by Lynne A. Johnson, a University of Idaho graduate (MAT 1984) who worked with scientists in the Department of Plant, Soil and Entomological Sciences (PSES) while a student here. The Russian wheat aphid photograph is from a slide loaned by Dr. Frank B. Peairs, Colorado State University; figures of Russian wheat aphid cornicles are from T. J. Weissling at CSU. Other color plates in the publication are from the Ken Gray collection and from slides in PSES departmental files.
