| STATE 4-H LEADERS WILL
MEET NOV. 12-14 IN BURLEY Writer: Marlene Fritz (208/364-4010 in
Boise) BURLEY, IdahoAdult and teen 4-H leaders from around the state will get rejuvenated for the 21st century at the Idaho State 4-H Leaders Forum Nov. 12-14 in Burley. The weekend forum is tightly scheduled with 33 different workshops outlining new 4-H projects and presenting fresh approaches to long popular projects. Topics include "Public Adventures" citizenship, sport fishing, Dutch oven cooking, Japanese art, communications rodeos, new livestock teaching aids, and on-the-farm potatoes and sugar beets. Motivational speaker and radio host Zeb Bell of Burley and 5th District Juvenile Judge John Varin of Fairfield will address the 4-H leaders. Participants will swap ideas at a sharing fair and tour either historic Oakley or the Amalgamated Sugar Co. and Moyle mink farm. The Leaders Forum will be held at the Best Western Burley Inn and Convention Center. Registration is $55 for adults and $50 for teens before Oct. 22 and an additional $15 thereafter.
